Honeybee Ham & Deli

I told this story to Jenny and she was about to tear up, so grab your kleenex for this one:
Zach and I will be celebrating our first Christmas as husband & wife this year. So we decided to have a Chrsitmas dinner for just two this Sunday. I planned the meal and was thinking 'well I dont want to try and do the turkey and ham just yet, but I'll prepare the side dishes and dessert.' I had heard of HONEYBEE HAM & DELI that served amazing turkey and ham. Since I prefer turkey and Z prefers ham I thought ' perfect! I'll get some slices of each and that way we won't have too much leftovers.' On Thursday I called to see how much it cost and no one answer but I found out they are only open M-F 8:00-3:00pm. So I was like tomorrow during my lunch break I have to go get the meat. On Friday I head over to Honeybee's and get to the counter:
Me- Hi I need to order some turkey and ham. I'm not sure how much or what kind...
Cashier- Well how many people will you be feeding? (and she points to the servings/pounds)
Me- Just 2, for me and my husband.
Cashier- Well will you want leftovers because you can get a pound of each that feeds 4-6.
Me- Ok great! Will it come sliced? ( I wanted to make sure I wasnt going to walk away with a turkey leg, or ham leg.. I've never ordered this before.. first timer)
Cashier- Yes it will come sliced.
I place the order and have a seat. All these old people were in there eating their lunches and it was so cute.
A man brings me the bag of a pound of turkey and pound of ham. I get in the car and take a look and its DELI MEAT!!!!! ahhh!!! I was so upset that I didn't order it right!! Hello, lady this is for my Christmas dinner!!! Not some picnic Christmas! I drove off mad at myself and thinking this would happen to me. I always learn by making the mistake first... So I head home, call Z upset and he tells me I need to take it back but I had to put it in the fridge so I could get back to work.
I get to work tell the other lady I work with the story and she's like well go exchange it, blah blah blah... I tell her I'll call, but I feel bad and I don't want to have to pay another $15.00.
I call and tell the lady:
Me- I had just come in to order for 2 and I walked away with deli meat and not dinner meat.
Cashier-I'm sorry but once the product leaves the store there's nothing we can do.
Me- that's fine I just want to know how to order it for next time.
Cashier- Well when is the dinner?
Me- Well it's on Sunday for me and my husband. It's our first Christmas dinner and I knew you were closed on the weekends and...
Cashier- Well how about this. I will give you a complimentary pound of dinner meat. Which one would you like?
Me- What?! Really?!(I was shocked but was also thinking dang it I want half of each cuz I don't like ham, but Z prefers ham) So I tell her "Ham please"
Cashier- I tell you what I'll give you half a pound of each!
Me- Really??!!! Thank you so much!!! Thank you, this means so much to me!
I run over there to pick up the new dinner meat and I tell her thank you thank you I really apprecicate it!!! She said "Well of course!!! We want you to have a special Christmas as newlyweds!"
So people, cmon now, go to Honeybee's and bless these folks. I'm thinking of making a tray of goodies and taking it up to them next week. If you have any other suggestions throw them my way! Yay for a special Christmas dinner and yay for Honeybee's!!!.... and eating tons of turkey and ham for a week!!!
