A few weeks ago Z came home from Lifegroup and decided that he was going to rearrange two of our rooms. I was so hesitant at first and I wasn't ready for our house to be upside-down and incomplete for the next few months. I just want it to be in order and homey as possible up until the last minute. But.... once Zach rearranged our rooms I realized I don't have all the time in the world and the holidays will be here in no time, which means once the holidays are here there's no time to get stuff done. So I came to terms with our house being a mess for the next few months. See we're having to make one of our living rooms a guest room, and the old guest room a baby room. So now the baby room is an empty mess with junk on the floor and the guest room is kind of in place, but still need to get rid of junk in there too. I know I'm only 14 1/2 weeks and all, so people are like you have a ton of time to get ready for the baby. But here's my reality: working pretty much 50 hours a week and every Saturday I'm in town; we're going out of town half the weekends the next 2 months; and once November comes Baby Renshaw will be here and Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner. Now I don't know why, but the past 2 years I've realized that holidays are crazy busy and having a full time job, working overtime, does not give me a ton of time to browse around and get baby stuff together... ya know what I mean?? ( I just had to put that disclaimer out there bcuz I feel like people think I'm jumpin the gun when really I just feel overwhelmed with decisions, work, and trying to reorganize our house and make it a home.)
So with all that said we bought a crib last weekend :) I was so proud to get such a deal!!! We got the crib, mattress, and mattress pad for only 70 bucks people!! The original price would be well over $250, but craigslist saved us!! The crib is in great condition and is the same style crib my sisters and I had growing up!!! Sweet, huh?!
Oh and that's the baby's first bib from his Lolli and Pops (z's parents)

And this was actually Baby Jones' first gift ever. A friend from work made it for me and when she gave me the burp cloth it hit me at a whole new level... it was kind of exciting thinking "oh, right, I'm having a baby"
And this Boppy body pillow was actually my first baby gift for me (given by my sis-n-law, which was soooo thoughtful!! She mailed it to me the week after we had told her!) But we can obviously see who gets the most use out of it now (I just took this pic and Z has no clue.) I'm all for sleeping on my back and tummy as much as possible now because I know there will come a time where I will ware that Boppy out by sleeping on my side. So just trying to take advantage of not using it now... which gives Zach the advantage to use it as he pleases :)
