At the women's conference this year one of the speakers talked about spending time with Jesus in the mornings. I've always been a firm believer of doing this, but 2010 has been the most challenging year for me to be consistent in the mornings. The speaker stated, "We trade the miraculous things for the mundane things." It's so true! When I choose to sleep in or choose to get to work earlier rather than putting Jesus first, I'm missing out. I pray that this new year will bring a new season of delight, desire, and discipline for my mornings! Oh how I need it!!
So what has helped me battle through many of my mornings (or times cleaning around the house) is You Tube. It's great because I just make my playlist and get to listen to all these songs without paying for them. (I don't think I've ever bought anything off itunes, I just You Tube.) It's great! I've actually never even seen a full music video that is on my queue list, but I just listen and sing along:) This song is one I wanted to share because it has been my favorite the past few weeks. (I'm sure Zach is prob sick of it by now... I tend to overkill songs and then I have to find a new one to kill.) Enjoy!
