Two things you may not know about Riverside: It's known for it's Orange groves and it's a perfect, central location with the mountains, beach, desert, Disneyland, and LA all within an hour or so.

The trip began flying out of Austin and Z carrying all of our carry on luggage. What a sweetheart! But I must add that the reason he is rolling the carry on with the strap and not the handle is because he broke the handle. My mom gave us brand new luggage and when we got back from our honeymoon Z broke it. Yes, he was messin around, trying to be cute, and fell on the suitcase breaking the handle. So now we stroll around with the strap and the suitcase falls all over the place.
Friday night Taco night

The Villaverde girls
Z&V and Al&Pat (ha!!!! maybe I should put Allison & Patrick so it doesn't sound like two guys??..)
We played some two hand touch football. This was one of my favorites of the weekend.. well I kind of had a lot of favorites!

Fumble??! No I think I caught that one. Al's so dramatic

She couldn't stop me! Actually I was running out of breath! How embarrassing...

that's my man :) Isn't he cute? Or as Ben and Carly taught me, Isn't he nice?
Gambling is in the Villaverde blood (can't you tell?). I mean every year the Villaverde Family Reunion, of like a million Filipinos, meet in Vegas and have a good time. So at all our family gatherings at the casa, there is always a Texas Hold Em tournament. I never play because poker is not my thing and I never want to put in money. But this time they played BlackJack and Rachel bought me in. So I went for it. I told my Grandpa I'll do whatever he does, and he said no, don't do that. And I'm glad I took his advice! He didn't even make it to the money round. I guess the good thing about all of them being risk takers and gamblers is that I watched them lose their money while I played real conservative and won ALL their money. I won 30 bucks!!
