Canton: First Monday

Every month Canton (bout 1.5 hr northeast of Waco) has a HUGE flea market-ish, millions of vendors, and acres of treasures and treasured junk for sale. Hundreds of people flock to this event the weekend before the first monday of the month. Laura is very very familiar with Canton and we were so thankful for all her help. She new all the hot spots and new how to price things. We all went with a mission to find some type of furniture or fun treasure.. I have been wanting a piece to go under Z's new TV. And I've waited and waited because I knew I could find something at Canton. The morning we left I prayed about what I could spend on the piece I was looking for. Z and I talked about it and agreed to be obedient to what the Lord said... Come to find out, Laura found my treasured piece and we ( I mean she) bargained with the guy and got it for exactly what I wanted. It was so neat because the Lord had spoken what I could spend and so when I did make the purchase, it was so enjoyable!! It's a treasure that I consider from the Lord... almost like he had it picked out for me that day... Man, so much to enjoy and learn about hearing God's voice!
How embarrassing.. people didn't know if we had bought the suitcase there or if it was our shopping cart.. we were the only ones there with a rolly suitcase..
Catchya Preggers
KT, Laura, Megan (& the real shopping cart that everyone uses there)
Decisions, decisions.. baby bedding
When's the last time you had Frito Pie?
My piece of treasure!
We weren't going to leave without the truck loaded... and we were quite successful!
A work in progress.. I've been looking for baskets for weeks.. can't find the right ones for the right price yet.. and I was just grabbing things around the house to put on top... to get an idea of what will do... still workin on it
