Z and I have gone back and forth.. do we move? Do we buy? Rent? We've always toyed with the idea of buying and when Parker was born the urgency to move heightened! (We've currently lived in our duplex for 3 1/2 years and we have been very grateful for this home! It's been perfect as newlyweds. But now that we're a family of 3, our wants for a home has changed...It's just not in the best neighborhood; there's only 1 bath; no dishwasher; we have neighbors upstairs which is not ideal when you have a baby; and its just old and not so clean). So as we prayed about what to do we both felt like God was saying to be patient and that he will provide. My ideal place to move would be Hewitt (a few miles from Waco) in atleast a 3/2 bed/bath. The only problem is, is that rent is atleast double of what we're paying and to find a newer/nice home is very unlikely. The renting market is not advertised well so it was almost impossible to see what our options could be. I had looked on Craigslist and found a few places, but of course they were way out of our price range. After a few weeks of waiting/being antsy too, our friends told us that a place for rent came up on our church's staff communicator. Long story short, an older couple is going to Mozambique for a year and basically need some housesitters. This couple has been so generous to us and even dropped our rent lower than what they were first asking! The house has EVERYTHING we'd want (except a fireplace, obviously no biggy) and it's new and perfect for our budget!!! We are so excited to move in our new home this weekend!! Holla!!
