Just a little update on life. Life in general. Lately Z and I have really enjoyed marriage! This should be normal right? And it usually is, but the past month, it's been even sweeter! I don't know why, but I just think the Lord has given us the grace to love and enjoy one another more and more. Z is more patient with me and is gentle with me and I'm learning how to cover/honor him. We don't get as defensive or offended when one is in the wrong and we're just enjoying being with each other. I think my favorite is still coming home to each other and being so excited to see each other as if it had been days, but really only 8 hours...
Since I started working 8 hour days Mon-Fri, I have so much more energy! I did love having Fridays off, but man I am not nearly exhausted as I used to be with those 10 hour days! I love my flexible days and not having a specific time I have to be in the office. I have been working alot of credit time/overtime throughout the week and I've worked the past 3 Saturdays... but not this weekend! I'm taking Friday off because it's Good Friday. Not really. I'm taking off because Z is having a piece of his chin bone put into his mouth with maybe one or two screws. Sounds fun, huh? I'm taking him to the oral surgeon and I will hold his hand as he begins the year long process of implants. I get to be his care-taker all weekend long :) I think I'll do some before and after pix so we can see what this thousands of dollar surgery is really worth. (I know it's worth it. Every penny!) So if you think of it, say a prayer for Z's surgery and recovery, thanks.
Z has started softball up again and the wives club is just not the same. Not as many wives make it out to the games and it's just hard to get back in the softball mode. But Z loves it so more power to him... work is going really well with him and he loves his co-workers (makes all the difference in a workplace!) and Simple Bills is about to expand to a few (and some) other campuses across Texas... SMU, TCU, UNT, ACU... just to name a few. Lastly, Z has become good friends with our neighbors across the street. They range from 3 yrs old to 16yrs old and there's 6 kids at the house at times, and they all love Z! They always want to hang out and two weekends ago they had asked to stay the night. I said ya that's fine, I'll be staying somewhere else though. (It didn't work out.....yet)
And I guess that's life for now.
Marriage, work, play, Jesus, friends, LG, family, church, work, sleep, play.

oh Im so thankful for the update. Glad work is going well & the hours are great. Im thankful your marriage has been especially sweet this last month too! I had no idea Z was having ALL that done! We'll have to give yall a call & make sure he is doing okay. I love that all the kids across the street love him. Of course they do! Made me even more excited for yall to meet our son! :) He is going to love the heck out of yall.
PS - I have a package we're putting together for yall. Okay honestly Ive been meaning to do it for like a year now! But hopefully one of these days I'll actually get it sent out!
